The original purpose of my website was to allow those who were interested in my artwork, to see and purchase prints at their leisure. The truth is that I don’t care for making money from print sales. The intention of my website is to represent more than just business or my artwork. This website is here to help make a difference in the world - one purchase and donation at a time.
Help Me, Help Our Oceans
I am committed to donate 20% of my profits from my website, each quarter (four months), to a selected non-profit organization who focuses on marine wildlife or environmental conservation efforts. Every quarter, I will select a new organization that I’m passionate about and believe can make a real difference for our oceans and future generations. I’m also open to taking suggestions for any organization you would like your proceeds to go to, so long as it falls in line with helping make our planet a better place :)
Where are Donations going this Quarter?
This quarter I’ve chosen the Marine Mammal Center located in Sausalito, California. This one is close to home (literally & figuratively). Growing up in Marin County, I was able to drive just 3o minuts to the coastline and was fortunate enough to be exposed to the tide pools and wildlife that thrived in this environment. The Marine Mammal Center is known for advancing global ocean conservation through marine mammal rescue and rehabilitation, scientific research, and education. They were a huge part of my inspiration to be a Marine Biologist and encouraged all members of the community to get more involved in protecting the marine wildlife in our backyards.
